The 2024 Summer Sportsman's Raffle returns on Saturday, July 20th, 2024 at the Suburban Collection Showplace. Doors open at 11:00AM and the event will conclude at approximately 4:00PM.

Come to the July 20th Shriners Summer Sportsman's Raffle with a "License to Purchase" from yur local Sheriff's Dept. already in hand just in case.

Here in Michigan currently, if you have a CPL you can pick a handgun, without a CPL you can pick a long gun and on both we have to do a background check in order for either to take home a gun that day... however the NICS (National Instant Check System) has been very slow and or down recently (hmmm, wonder why?) and if not proceeded in a timely manner, the winner would then have to come to Bad Axe to retrieve the prize when the background check is concluded... however with a license to purchase the holder of that form has already been cleared for a firearm transfer (handgun OR long gun) and can instantly take the prize home.
